Hello! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Crystal Moore, the founder of Garden & Grace, mom of 3 living in the town I grew up in with my husband who I met in the second grade! In 2022 we moved into our dream neighborhood and are slowly making our new house a home that reflects us.
While I’m learning to show myself grace in every aspect of my life, including decorating and updating my home, I’m enjoying the process and finding inspiration in many places. Hello, friends! It’s been a little while since I’ve shared a personal update, so I thought I’d take this time to fill you in on what’s been going on in my world—both personally and professionally. Grab a cup of coffee or tea, and let’s catch up!
Renovating my primary bathroom was an exciting and transformative project. The space was outdated and poorly ventilated, so we decided to take it down to the studs and start fresh. Here’s how we turned it into a timeless retreat.
Mixing old and new is core to my personal home design philosophy. I just love how antiques ground a space and help tell a richer story. For that reason, when I created the Garden & Grace directory, I knew I had to have trusted antique shops in the mix.
Here are five antique stores all throughout the South that I know you’ll love just as much as I do.
My husband and I were lucky enough to sneak off to Charleston for a quick getaway a few weeks ago! Child-free quality time in one of our favorite places before the rush of the holidays was such a treat. I shared a few of these recs on Instagram, but wanted to give them a more permanent spot on the blog, just in case it’s helpful for your planning!
I recently did a little shopping for my own closet to update my winter staples. I tend to like classic combinations, so Tuckernuck is one of my go-to places to shop. Just one or two new pieces helps me style my existing wardrobe in a fresh way—without adding too much.

Two years later and some days I look back and think we’ve done so much while others days I still see the empty walls and dated hardware. There’s always something to do but today, I’m sitting back and appreciating what we’ve done and the memories we’ve already made.

Before we officially leave the 2024 holiday season, I couldn’t help but share a few moments from my time in Charleston this week with family where the holiday spirit is still alive.
The holidays can feel like a moment in the year when time stands still and everything has a glimmer of magic to it. I always look forward to it and in some ways am sad it’s over. Anyone else feel this way?

@frankneelydesign went to great measures to honor the architectural styles of the surrounding homes in this established Atlanta neighborhood. This new build is situated on a sloped lot but was designed for easy outdoor living without the need for a flight of stairs to access the back lawn and pool. The subterranean 3-car garage is built under the sprawling lawn that leads out to the pool – every detail thoughtfully designed and implemented. I think the front porch might be my favorite though.

Merry Christmas from my family to yours! As I reflect on 2024, I’m the most thankful for these sweet three, my husband, our families, and friends near and far. I often find myself looking around and thinking, “these really are the days.” In the midst of the running around, sibling quarrels, burnt cookies and to-do lists, I hope we can all find time to look around and enjoy the season we find ourselves in. Because it truly is just a season, isn’t it? Life is filled with seasons, some wonderful, some hard. But there’s purpose in both, and we can’t get today back. ❤️
