A peek inside this iconic Nantucket home has me giddy for summer and the memories it always brings. My family and I visited Nantucket last summer, and I remember this home!

How special to get a closer look! The home’s elegant, fresh spaces lead to more casual family and guest living areas. I love the use of yellow in the guest room!

This special home graciously hosted the @mintauxiliary speakers, supporters and sponsors one week ago during a magical night celebrating the arts and preserving our cities architecture. Swipe to see the home’s newest addition of a potting shed greenhouse and outdoor gathering spaces.

The morning was spent at the @mintauxiliary Spring Symposium listening to a husband-wife interior design team that was new to me but incredibly talented. When tasked with designing an 800 square foot guest cottage on a large family property outside of Tallahassee, FL, @cbrandoningram paid close attention to scale, necessities and ways to embellish the natural light.

For example, the windows are slightly larger than the average window to allow more natural light into the space and each interior wall is painted the same @benjaminmoore Swiss Coffee to camouflage corners and make the space feel larger. It feels open and larger than 800 square feet to me! What do you think?

The front and back porch are not included in the 800 square feet and add priceless living space.

The haint blue ceiling color on the front and back porch is Waterscape by @sherwinwilliams. A true nod to its southern roots.
