Crystal

Hello! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Crystal Moore, the founder of Garden & Grace, mom of 3 living in the town I grew up in with my husband who I met in the second grade! In 2022 we moved into our dream neighborhood and are slowly making our new house a home that reflects us.

While I’m learning to show myself grace in every aspect of my life, including decorating and updating my home, I’m enjoying the process and finding inspiration in many places. I love getting to share this journey with you and hope you find the ideas, resources and inspiration you need to create a home that reflects you and the people that gather in it.

Garden & Grace is a curated collection of timeless architectural, landscape and interior design inspiration. While some images are taken by the Garden & Grace team, others are the work of photographers and other professionals in the industry. A Serene and Light Nursery for Our Fourth Baby

Designing this nursery felt extra special — it’s for our fourth baby and third little boy. With each child, I’ve learned that a nursery doesn’t need to be overdone to feel meaningful. For this space, I wanted it to feel serene, light, and timeless — a calm corner of our home that feels just right for him.

No place I’d rather be 🩵 baby #4’s nursery!

@societysocial graciously provided the faux grasscloth wallpaper and the drapery fabric is also @societysocial that I ordered during one of their online sample sales!

I did the peel and stick myself and included the tools I used in the shoppable links as well!

Personal story 🥹 three and a half years ago we drove by this house on the way to my in-laws house. I loved it (and the sweet pup on the front porch) and took this video. Six months later it came on the market.

We were casually looking and when it hit the market, we jumped on it. It’s in the neighborhood we wanted to raise our kids in and it fit a lot of our “wants.”

Over the last three years, we’ve been making thoughtful changes to make it feel like us. Some bigger updates — like renovating bathrooms, new landscaping and a new fence — and some smaller updates — like adding wallpaper, changing out light fixtures and painting nearly every wall. Each update has made the house function better for our family or added personality that feels like us. We still have a long list of updates we plan to make but over time, bit by bit, we’ve been making this house our home.

So if you’re in a home that doesn’t quite feel “finished,” remember — home takes time. Don’t compromise style or quality to get it done. Take your time, live in the space and make thoughtful updates that will last.

We loved this home before it was ours and now, we’re beyond thankful to call it home.
