Pieces Available Off the Floor
Traditions brings in beautiful furniture that can be purchased off the floor. I love being able to sit on the furniture to test the height, comfort and overall feel. With lead times the way they are, it’s amazing to have a local store that offers quality furniture that you can take home today. This pair of velvet swivel chairs were stunning!
There’s an entire section of the store dedicated to large furniture pieces like sectionals and sofas. Each area is styled so you can visualize how the pieces will work in a room.
If you’ve ever received a faux orchid arrangement in Charlotte, it’s likely from Traditions. They are known for their faux floral arrangements that truly look real. I received one as a gift that I love!
I was in the store this week and found these two pieces. The first one is a game table with intricate details that would be beautiful in a formal den or living room. The second one is a beautiful pine side table. I’d style it with two skirted ottomans below, a large ginger jar and lamp, and a large piece of artwork above. Both pieces are so unique and won’t last long.
Holiday Decor
Traditions of Charlotte is known for their selection of seasonal decor, and the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday decor is my favorite. There are pieces like this pot and faux berry bundle that are understated and traditional decor but they also carry larger holiday decor pieces for tablescapes, front doors and mantles.
Custom Furniture
There’s no place like Traditions of Charlotte when it comes to selection of custom furniture manufacturers. Companies like Wesley Hall, EJ Victor, Century, Highland House and more are available to order through Traditions trade account. They have two interior designers in the shop that will work with you to pull samples, find trim and order the pieces. They also provide full interior design services – ask for Michele or Sarah!
I used them for my own home to order four Wesley Hall chairs for my conversation room / den. I’m working with a designer out of Birmingham, AL who helped select the chair but to make things easier with shipping and delivery she recommended I find someone local to order the large chairs.
Traditions was so easy to work with and had a great selection of Wesley Hall fabrics as well as other fabric swatches from other manufacturers that I considered for COM. They have a large workspace area so I was able to spread out and consider my options.
Why I love Traditions
Since I’ve been going into Traditions for years, I was excited to share them with you! Whether I just pop in while at Park Road Shopping Center running errands or plan a time to go in for something specific, I’m so glad we have a store like Traditions in Charlotte.
