If you didn’t have a backyard pool on your mind already, there’s a good chance you will after scrolling these luxury backyard pools. Each one is crafted with intentional detail and appreciation for its surroundings. So curl up with a glass of rose (or your summer drink of choice) and picture yourself beating the heat this summer by the pool.

This pool house steals the show so I love how the pool design is simple and doesn’t distract from it’s architectural details. Notice the two small tables flanking the sides and the carved out space for the lounge chairs – so whether you’re sunbathing, having lunch by the pool or taking a break from the sun, you’ll feel right at home.

This luxurious pool and home is on Christopher Street in Southampton, NY. It recently sold for over $18M and of course, the grounds and interior are just as incredible as the pool. For those curious minds (like mine!), the address is 11 Christopher Street.

There’s a storied past behind this one. It was originally built in 1891 — which makes it the second oldest home in Palm Beach, Florida. It recently underwent a major renovation but the integrity of the architecture remains intact. You can read more about this luxurious beach charmer, in this Modern Luxury Palm Beach article.

Backyard retreat. This pool is all about its surroundings and creating a green space with a pool. It feels private and lush – a perfect place for sunbathing and a good book.

Not necessarily kid friendly, but can you imagine this at night with the fire going and friends gathered around??

I was first drawn to this photo for the pool but quickly found myself wishing I was sitting on the beautiful covered porch. The brick details on this home are timeless, and I love how the home reflects off the pool.
Would you guess that these next two are in the heart of Atlanta, GA? It’s true. Nestled into their surroundings are two examples of pools that are built to create a private oasis for unwinding and recharging.
