One summer in college I interned at The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Birmingham, AL. I often found myself exploring the streets of Birmingham and its surrounding towns of Mountain Brook and Homewood admiring the detailed architecture and intentional landscaping.
If you live there or have visited, you know what all the fuss is about! It’s truly a place that is invested in maintaining the character of its neighborhoods. These new builds and renovated homes are just a handful of the many charming homes that grace the winding streets of Birmingham and its surrounding areas.
So many of the homes I encountered stopped me in my tracks. I love the curb appeal here, from the climbing ivy to the planters flanking the front door.
